These Terms of Service apply to the AGROWLYF mobile application (package: com.agrowlyf.agrowlyf), published on Google Play by kivulideveloper. Approved by group consensus for compliance and clarity.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the AGROWLYF app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. This agreement is effective as of the date of first use.
2. Description of Service
AGROWLYF is a farm management tool that helps farmers keep an accurate inventory of their farm products and produce, track daily farm activities, and monitor agricultural operations. Core features include:
- Inventory cataloging for crops, harvested produce, and farm supplies
- Quantity tracking with units (kg, tons, bushels, etc.) and batch logs
- Activity recording – planting, irrigation, fertilization, harvesting, and more
- Visual dashboards for production trends and inventory levels
- Optional sharing of inventory lists with buyers, cooperatives, or partners
- Offline access to farm data with secure cloud backup
3. Agricultural Disclaimer
- AGROWLYF is a farm inventory and activity tracking tool only. It does not provide professional agricultural advice, pest management recommendations, or market price guarantees.
- All farming decisions (planting schedules, crop treatments, selling prices) are the sole responsibility of the user. Always consult qualified agronomists or local agricultural extension services for expert guidance.
- The App is not a substitute for government compliance software, organic certification records, or food safety documentation required by law.
- Do not rely solely on the App for critical business decisions without independent verification.
4. User Accounts and Data
- You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and all activities under your account.
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- You retain full ownership of all farm inventory entries, activity logs, production data, and custom records you create.
- Data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to secure, encrypted cloud storage.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App's source code
- Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access
- Upload, post, or transmit content that is abusive, offensive, defamatory, or violates others' rights
- Use the App to harass, threaten, or harm anyone
- Interfere with the App's operation or security features
6. Responsibility & Safety
- You acknowledge that farm management involves inherent risks (weather, market fluctuations, crop failure). The App is a record-keeping aid, not a risk eliminator.
- You assume all risks associated with using App records for business decisions.
- Always back up important farm data through multiple methods.
7. User-Generated Content
- You retain full intellectual property ownership of farm inventory lists, activity descriptions, and any notes you create.
- You grant AGROWLYF a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display your content solely to provide the service (including sharing features you initiate).
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or is deemed harmful to others.
8. Subscriptions & Payments (if applicable)
- Some premium features (e.g., advanced analytics, multi-farm management, expanded sharing) may require a paid subscription.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- All payments are processed through Google Play Store; refunds follow Google Play Store policies.
- Price changes will be communicated in advance.
9. Intellectual Property
- The App (code, design, branding, and proprietary features) is owned by kivulideveloper.
- Your personal farm data, inventory entries, and activity logs remain your exclusive property.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from App content without explicit written permission.
10. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate with third-party services (analytics, cloud storage, authentication). Use of such services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party practices.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that inventory calculations will perfectly match real-world measurements.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, kivulideveloper shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, crop losses, or loss of inventory data, arising from use of the App.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless kivulideveloper from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the App, violation of these terms, or reliance on App information for business or agricultural decisions.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify users of material changes via in-app notice or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
15. Termination
You may delete your account and discontinue use at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice.
16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation before resorting to formal legal processes.

- Active Accounts: We retain your personal data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.
- Account Deletion: Upon account deletion request, personal data including all farm inventory and activity logs is erased from our systems within 90 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics.
- Backups: Temporary backup copies are automatically purged within 30 days.
- Inactive Accounts: Accounts inactive for 24 months may be permanently deleted after notification.
